The Streak is a short story about a boy who has bad lucks at first, but at the end the amount of bad things happen, the same amount of good things happen to him. He was very miserable at first when he had a streak of bad luck but however he was very happy when he had the streak of bad luck. All he wanted was a date with a girl named Celia but he runs out of luck. Then something ironic happened. k.In fact Celia asked him out who also is having a streak of good luck.
This book is very interesting because i'am very interested in streak even though i don't believe in it. But from this story i learned how streak works. Sometimes i guess i should believe in streak but only the good streak because i don't want to have the bad streak my whole life. Streak can turn your worst day of the life into the best day of your life. In this story, the narrator didn't belive in lucks in te begining but in the end he actually started to believe in lucks when good things started to happen to him. It is also important to mention that streak is going to end eventually.So next time i'am having bad luck i will not try to kill myself because good things will happen to me.
From the story Streak, i learned a valuable lesson. When yo have bad luck you will eventually have the same amount of good luck. The message i recieved from this story is that believing in Streak could be a good thing even though things happen for many reasons. also bad lucks actually makes up by havink good lucks.
